Joann E. Culp, age 78 of Rio Grande died on Tuesday, May 20, 2008 at Crest Haven Nursing Home. Born in Phila., PA., she formerly resided in Haddon Heights and Cape May Court House. She worked for the Haddon Heights Public School, where she ran the cafeteria, and for Middle Township Schools. She was a member of the Cape Shore Sweet Adelines. Surviving are a daughter, Naomi Culp of Fisher, Indiana; sons, Brian, Jr. (Judith) of Belen, N.M., Grant (Donna) of Mays Landing and Walter (Kim) of Egg Harbor City; six grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and a sister, Laura Burton of Roswell, Ga.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, 8:00 PM at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd., N. Cape May, NJ, where friends may call from 6:00 PM. Burial will be private. Donations in her memory may be sent to: Kidney Foundation, 325 Chestnut St., Suite 1016, Phila., Pa. 19106.
