i am so sorry to hear this news. Jack Bowman was a real gentleman. My wife, and myself will always be grateful to him. He built out summer home in Cape May Nj. It has brought us years of happiness, I always thanked him every time I ran in to him in town. When we built an addition to it years later, I had no doubts I would us his son to build it. A wonderful family. Lance, I am so sorry for your loss. Your father was quite a man. I know he passed all those qualities to you too. I just can't express my sorrow hearing this news.

Jack & I shared odd commonalities!!
Seems every time one of us had an injury or surgery, the other followed!!
(Ankle-Shoulder-etc) We even shared an almost common birthday!!
He is missed on the tennis courts and in our hearts.
Much love and hugs to Pat and her loved ones.

My family moved to Cape May from Arizona in 1965. I got to know Jack from playing football at Lower Cape May Regional High School. Our friendship continued into college days and well into our adult years. I will remember Jack as a family man, a successful business man, and a fun person to be around. God bless his family during this difficult time.

So very sorry I can't be there. So many memories of a wonderful person and none in the least bit negative. Jack was a good person to be around and share life with. I could fill this space with adjectives that we would all aspire to. Rest well Jackie...you left the world a better place than you found it.

Jess, Lance, and Mrs. Bowman,
So sorry to hear of your loss. I will always remember how strong and handsome your dad was. He was always so kind and supportive to me. I still cannot believe he let us roller skate on his tennis court or make a giant slip and slide on the side of his house in his beautiful grass. His memory will always be a huge part of my childhood as will all of you.. Peace and Love to all

Jack was truly a great friend. I didn't like being across the tennis net from him but crewing with Jack and Pat on the sailboat made my summer Saturdays the day I always enjoyed. He will be missed by many.

I was so sorry to hear about Jack’s passing. “Jackie” was my cousin and the closest thing I had to a big brother to look up to. My family spent time every summer with the wonderful Bowman Family and Jack always had some fun or fascinating activity he was involved in that he would share with us including swimming, sailing, boating, and fishing. He was the strong and silent type of whom I and my two sisters were in awe. My thoughts, prayers and love go out to his extended family members. I will never forget him nor the good times we had together.

The last time I saw Jack was back in 1971. I cannot think of a more wonderful, warm, receptive human being. He was always welcoming one into his and Patty's home, and fun was his middle name. I send my deepest sympathies & condolences to his family & friends who were privileged to such a wonderful person and experience the past 43 years. The best advice I can offer is to rejoice and celebrate Jacks matriculation into eternal life. Spiritual Love is the one love we need to cling to. More potent than all the rest, it never dies. Jack is with each and every one of us, more now than ever before. When you feel that sudden warmth of the sun on your forehead on a cold winter day, or that cool breeze that cascades across the nape of your neck on a hot summer day, it's Jack letting you know he's there. So raise you head, turn your eyes to the sky, open you arms, and lovingly let him spread his wings and fly!

I'm friends with his daughter, Jessica. I remember being around her mother more than her father because of him working, but I do have one memory that has stayed with me all these years. Me, Jess, her parents, and i think Lance were suppose to go see "2010" in Rio Grande and when we got there, we were told it closed a day early. Us kids were so bummed, so Jack said we would go to rental store and get movies. We did and went back to their house and pigged out, watched movies, played pool and had an awesome sleepover!! It's one of my favorite childhood memories. Thank you to the Bowman's. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
