Wallace R Newby, Jr.,"Bones", 53, of Villas passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, August 2, 2012 at his home. He was a lifetime resident of Cape May County. Bones was a heating/air conditioning technician, carpet installer, and an all around handyman who loved Jesus as well as his family and friends. He enjoyed being outdoors and doing things with his family and friends such as camping, fishing, and crabbing. Bones is survived by his wife Nancy Newby; his children: Cynthia Jarbeck, Ruth (Matt) Gray, Matthew (Dolly) Newby, & Charlotte Newby-Ridings (James Ridings); his sister Ellen Peterson; and his 16 grandchildren (soon to be 17 grandchildren). There will be a funeral service at 5:00 PM on Tuesday, August 7, 2012 at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd, North Cape May, NJ 08204; where friends will be received from 3:00 to 5:00 PM. Interment will be private. The family suggests donations in Bones' memory to the Atlantic City Rescue Mission, 2009 Bacharach Blvd, Atlantic City, NJ 08401.
