Today is your 65th birthday poppop. Since you've been gone, I have done so many great things in my life. I am truly blessed when it comes to the things I have in this life. I was only 9 when you were taken from us, and part of me still feels like that 9 year old girl whenever I think about you. I hope your proud of us all. You have 3 great grandchildren and another one on the way. We love and miss you. Happy Birthday Old Man.

Well dad its been 3,519 days since I've seen you or heard your voice! I know you are at peace now but it has not gotten easier. You were the glue to the family and its gone. I miss all of the things we did from camping, planting a garden, morning coffee visits and everything else. I hope you look down and are proud of the mother and wife I have become. You will FOREVER be missed until we are together again. Love and miss you so much! Ruth

pop - You taught me more than you could ever imagine. You filled the shoes of my dad when mine was called home. I miss you very much and am proud to call you my dad...

Hey poppop. Its crazy how much I think about you non-stop. Everything I do, I do to make you proud. Im gonna miss our fishing trips, and our summer mornings at Ruthies where we all just sat there, drank coffee, while you read the morning paper. Or when you drove me and Peanut to the beach just a few days before you died and pretended that your van was an airplane, & you were the pilot. The littlest things remind me of you, like my teacher was telling us about how he took his boat off the dock for Hurricane Sandy, and it reminded me that we wont be able to go on anymore boat rides together...just you and me...I try my hardest to stop being so upset all the time, because I know your much happier up there. I love you so much Poppop, until we meet again, and reschedule our fishing trip we were supposed to go on. Missing you more and more every day... <3

Just got word of Bones' passing. Praying for peace, love and strength for all of you. We know he's with the Lord and at peace. Besides camping, we'll always remember the bike rides and good times we shared with you, Bones. May rest easy in His peace. Take care and God bless you all. With sincere sympathy, Skip, Wendy, Leann, Amanda and Jason.
