Jennie was a most dedicated volunteer at Cape Regional Medical Center for over 39 years; in total, she contributed more than 6,000 hours of vital service - touching the lives of all with whom she interacted each and every Thursday afternoon. Jennie assisted in the Volunteer Workroom where she manned the telephone, answering countless requests for errands to be performed by a team of volunteers. She was known as a caring person who spoke so lovingly of her family. Of amazing note is that NO MATTER WHAT the weather, dear Jennie came in to volunteer with her hair looking impeccable! Jennie Long will be missed by all at Cape Regional Medical Center, and we will always be grateful for her loyal service.
