The last time I saw you was at Ronny Robb's viewing. I was with another old guy, Tommy O'Neill. I heard you calling our names when we arrived. He greeted us like the old friends we were. From this old guy to you, a young guy. RIP Brother.

Rest in Peace my friend. You were a good man and a kind soul. Always had a smile on your face. It was a pleasure to work with you at SSCF and to get to know you. I am sorry I found out too late to attend your service. I will always smile when i think of you. may the good Lord hold you and bless you.

Dear Moe,
I want to say how much I'll miss our Facebook interactions. You always brightened up everyone's day with your pictures, and posts. I always wondered how you were able to comment or acknowledge everyone's posts. I called you the "Ansel Adams" of Cape May County with the pictures you would share. For that thank you! I appreciated your sense of loyalty and nostalgia for Elbridge St. and of course Roosevelt Playground. Personally, you helped keep me connected to our past. You seemed to get the most out of life, along with your "darling wife" Diane. Well, it looks like you found a new place to hang. And I'm certain that we will all see you down the road. In the mean time.... Peace Out!

Hambone, as many of us that worked with him affectionately called him, was truly one of a kind. He could walk into a room of the crankiest people and say one thing and everyone would instantly smile. He was kind beyond measure and always had a wonderful story. When Mike found out my Mom had grown up near Northport Long Island, it was instantly so many wonderful stories of when he was there. Hambone will be sadly missed by many of us. Rest assured though, he will never be forgotten. My deepest sympathies go out to his Love Diane and all of his family and friends.

Our deepest sympathy to mike's friends and family and his beautiful wife Diane. My husband worked with Mike for many years and I had been blessed to meet him several years ago.We had many interesting conversations-will never forget his beautiful smile. He always had such a great sense of humor and seemed like such a happy person-truly a beautiful soul to all those who knew him.He will be dearly missed by so many.I am so grateful to have known him and was able to visit with him in his final days and let our dog Reggie meet him.He always loved dogs-we had many conversations of the various ones he had over the years.Always took such beautiful pictures and told my husband and I about a beautiful place near him to go watch the sunset and take our dog.I think of him every time we go to that beautiful place. I know he was met with love as he reunited with his dogs of past at rainbow bridge.Deepest condolences to Diane and his family. He was an honorable man and is greatly respected.Truly a loss for all those who knew him. Always in our thoughts, Darlene and John Oehlert
