Obituary of Robert W. Gibson

Robert W, Gibson,71, North Cape May entered into eternal rest Sunday, October 13th five days before his 72nd birthday.
Born in Philadelphia PA October 18, 1952, he was the son of the late James and Ruth Katherine (Ekenrode) Gibson.
Robert worked in the manufacturing and industrial industry as a mold setter for Resdel Corporation. Prior to that he worked at Hunt's Pier in Wildwood. He was a member and was very active in the Faith Assembly of God Church and assisted in the Youth Ministries of the Church. He was the Leader of the Royal Rangers Assemblies of God which sought to empower, enlighten and spiritualize the youth of the Church.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death his brother James. He is survived by his sister Judy wife of Bob Connelly; niece Kristen Connelly Guinther; nephews Mark and Andrew Morris; and many friends.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, November 12 at 11AM at Hope Church formerly the First Assembly of God Church 1068 Seashore Road Cape May NJ 08204. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects from 10AM until the time of the service. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family at Cold Spring Cemetery. The family would prefer donations be made to the First Assembly of God Church for a scholarship fund for the youth of the church to continue their secondary education at either a college or trade school.
