Frank Jaskel of Wildwood, NJ left this World at 58 years old on Tuesday July 16 after a valiant battle with cancer. Born in the Mayfair neighborhood of Northeast Philadelphia, he attended St. Matthew's grade school and Father Judge High School. Frank achieved an associate's degree from The Community College of Philadelphia. Frank spent his summers as a lifeguard at the Sun Deck and as a bartender at Uries, The Oceanic, and Kelly's in Wildwood. He also worked at The Barn Night Club in Bensalem, PA. Frank became a foreman at T&N Van Service and excelled as the superintendent at Ocean Place in Wildwood Crest. Frank was an avid fisherman, crabber, cook, and gardener, and was also a founding member and bassist for The Freshwater Squirrels. He is preceded in death by both of his parents, Jack and Ann. He leaves behind his loving wife, Mary (McGrath), his children Frankie (Nicole Nejman) Jaskel, Seamus O'Donnell, Casey (Jessica) O'Donnel, Allyssa Badman, his grandchildren Noah Jack Jaskel and Luna O'Donnell, siblings John (Maureen Sullivan) Jaskel, Jackie Gillen, Jennifer (Gordon) Geer, and nieces and nephews Jake (Brighid) Jaskel, James, Henry, Quinn, Baby Jaskel, Maxine Jaskel, Michael Gillen, Brieghlyn, Mavrix, Mackenzie Greer and Colin Geer. There will be a celebration of life memorial held for Frank on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, with a visitation beginning at 10:00am at Evoy Funeral Homes, 3218 Bayshore Rd., North Cape May. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (stjude.org).
