We were so very sad to hear about our Uncle Lee passing. He was such a kind and gentle man. His smile, his thoughts that he expressed and the way he made us feel when we around him will never be forgotten. He had such a positive impact on my life, both as a child and adult. I will always treasure the fantastic memories of Uncle Lee. God Bless

I have known my Cousin Leroy all my life. He and Regina used to babysit for me and my sister, Diane. I remember one special time when he drew a cartoon of us, probably around age 10ish. Then years later when I was babysitting I did so for Jim and Bob. I would go to their house and have dinner before they went out and he would always make me eat my green beans. Lee was ALWAYS wonderful, kind, lots of fun, and Oh so eager to make you feel warm and accepting. Regina and Lee were my greatest example of fair and honest Parents who took the time to listen to us Kids. I think he was the one who got me hooked on Genealogy. He was and is one of the GREATEST gifts in my life.

I wish I had more, but will never forget the ones I do have. A soft gentlemen with a heart of gold. Uncle Lee made me feel special from the very first time we met. It was my honor to have call him uncle. I wish we could have one last, late summer night, cold beer together. He would always say, "Blooms has the coldest beer on the island".
Together we shared a few while he counted his quarters and recalled his adventures traveling up and down Pacific Avenue. Respected by all, Uncle Lee never a bad word to say about anyone. Respectful and thoughtful to all others, that's the men I'll never forget. May you rest in peace.
