Aunt Elva always had a smile and nothing ever seemed to bother her when we had family events. Easters with Uncle Bob and Aunt Elva were always interesting in one way or another. You always had to check the oven to make sure there were no socks or underwear drying in it. She would make potato salad with her homemade grape wine/vinegar, fresh from the backyard vines, and there was always carrot salad. She had the voice of an angel and loved to share it with her church family. God blessed us with her presence, talents, and love to the very end.
