Obituary of Kevin Richard Yoho

Kevin Richard Yoho, 69, of Ocean City, NJ, passed away on 10/3/23 at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital after a long battle with cancer and complications. Kevin was born in Cheverly, Maryland to Martha Sue Carroll and Bill Lee Yoho on January 17th 1954. He earned a degree from Washington Bible School and a Doctorate of Ministry from Eastern University. He was ordained with the Presbyterian Church USA. His long career included work with the presbyterian in church in Philadelphia, Drexel Hill PA, Newark, Bridgeton, and Cape May NJ. Prior to his Ministry we worked with sound recording, the Naval Weapons Center and computer companies. He was involved in many volunteer and religious organizations. He wrote a book based on his work in Philadelphia- Crayons for the City. Kevin is survived by his wife Melissa Arnott, 3, children Kimberly Yoho, Jaime Yoho and Jonathan Yoho; 2 step-children Jessica Cooney and Keith Cox and grandchildren Theodore Brooks, Graciela Cardona Yoho, Sy Craskey and Liam Cooney. He is also survived by his sister Karen Yoho and Niece Mary Alyce Yoho along with father-in-law and mother-in-law, brother and sisters-in-law, extended family and his Church family. Funeral service will be held at Cold Spring Presbyterian Church on Saturday, October 7th. All are welcome for 10:00am visitation and 11:00am service followed by a luncheon at the Churches Price Hall. Memorial donations may be made to Cold Spring Presbyterian Church Deacons fund that serves the community The family wishes to extend their gratitude to family and friends, including his church family, who provided love and support and to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.
