I worked with Kevin in YL at Largo high school and with Kevin and Jim Taylor at the legal aid law office. They were SO funny together, made me laugh until I was crying. Good memories. Praying for God's kind grace and peace for Kevin's family.

Karen, I am so sorry for the loss of your brother Kevin. I, too, lost a brother this week. My brother Wayne, who estranged from our family, living with a woman who was responsible for his death. Prayers and love to you and your family.

I met Dr. Kevin Yoho as General (Executive) Presbyter of Newark Presbytery 16 years ago back in 2007. Kevin was personable, extremely computer literate, and was much beloved, involved, and devoted. He was a friend, and I was touched by his ministry. We often joked about my email address clerkofsession.trinity.montclair@comcast.net When he learned of my uncle’s passing, he sent me this note.
“Hello Frank,
I am sorry to learn of Uncle Bobby's passing. Be assured of my prayers for you and Del and the entire family. Thank you for taking the time to share how Uncle Bobby made such a difference in your lives. He left the world a better, blessed place, directing his love outward toward others. Let me know if I can serve you in any way. Call any time.
Kevin”
I now echo his expression of condolence. I am sorry to learn of Kevin’s passing. Be assured of my prayers for you and the entire Yoho family. Dr. Kevin made a difference in our lives. He left the world a better, blessed place, directing his love outward toward others. Let me know if I can serve you in any way. Call any time.
Elder Frank Moss, Clerk of Session, Trinity Presbyterian Church, Montclair, NJ, Newark Presbytery now Presbytery of NorthEast New Jersey

Such sad news of Kevin's illness and passing.
Sincere condolences to our cousin Karen, Mary Alyce & to all extended Yoho family and friends.
As children, it was always fun to visit Kevin and Karen along with their interesting, larger than life parents with our own parents (Mack & Maxine).
One memory was the re-telling of Kevin's teenage grass-cutting mishap: the accidental shearing of the electric mower's power cord. No injuries, thank God.
Kevin always had the joie de vivre so much a part of the Yoho family
May he rest in the most joyful peace.
Anne Jones-Patterson
Laura Mackey

Kevin and I were colleagues in ministry in the former Presbytery of the Palisades. He pastored Elmwood Park, I ministered in Carlstadt. We were part of a robust cluster of churches in south Bergen/Passaic Cty. We held many joint worship services, pulpit exchanges and gatherings.
Kevin will always be remembered for his computer and tech. skills. He was the first pastor to use a computer, an Apple Lisa, if I recall and leading the church into the computer age.
He enjoyed leadership in the PCUSA, had a roguish sense of humor, and valued colleagues and friends.

Kevin was my spiritual mentor when I was a college student and Young Life team member in the late 1970's. His hunger for spiritual truth was infectious. He was fun, he was intentional, he was focused, he was my friend. I look forward to re-kindling our friendship in Glory.
