Obituary of Martha E. Buonopane

Martha Buonopane, age 98 of N. Cape May, NJ passed away on Saturday, July 22, 2023 at Cape Reg. Medical Center. She was born in Bryn Mawr, PA and has been a Cape May area resident since 1974. She was formerly of Havertown, PA. Martha enjoyed crocheting, bingo and bowling. She was very active at St. John of God Church in North Cape May having volunteered for many functions, she was a member of Christ Child Society and the Red Hat Ladies of Cape May. Martha was preceded in death by her husband Anthony, children Anthony, Rosanne and Ruthee and brother Sam Mostardi. She is survived by her grandchildren, Gina Buonopane (Robert Fothergill) and George Kopishke (Terri). Great-grandchildren, William Quinn. Jessica Quinn, Symone Robinson and Logan Perez; sister Mary McNamara; nieces Mary Nee (Tom) and Ruthanne Quinn (John). Great-nephews Thomas Nee (Ashley), Chris Nee (Moria), John Quinn (Kathleen), great niece, Alicia Quinn (Andrew) and several great-great nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 AM Friday July 28, 2023 at St. John Neumann Parish/ St. John of God Church, 680 Townbank Road, North Cape May, NJ. Relatives and friends will be received at the church from 10 to 11 AM. Burial will be at St. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
