We met Ruth shortly after we moved here. Her daily walking route took her past our house and we frequently chatted a few minutes about family, books, neighborhood happenings, and life in general. Even our grandchildren knew Ruth. Her positive attitude and words of wisdom will always inspire us to stay active and live life to the fullest. She would often ask - "Hope you're doing something fun today! You're still walking,right? Say hi to your playmate!" And she was one of the only people our dog wouldn't bark at! In fact Maisy still tries to get us to go towards Ruth's house to say hello! We miss seeing Ruth with her walking stick and our curbside chats. Rest in peace dear friend.
