Jane MacDonald. Morley, age 62, of Villas and Haddon Twp., NJ died peacefully on Sunday, January 12, 2014 at Cape Regional Med. Center after a short but valiant battle with uterine cancer. Jane was the daughter of Stanley and Jesse (Cundy) MacDonald of Haddon Twp., NJ. She is survived by her loving husband Michael, her brothers Sandy (Melanie) of Hightstown, NJ and Scott (Kelly) of Pitman, NJ. She is also sadly missed by Casey, her yellow lab. In addition to her husband and brothers, she is survived by nieces and nephews, Meredith, Ian, Leanne, Brian (Susan), Glenn, Todd (Kerry), and Craig (Lily) as well as their children, She is also sadly missed by her sisters-in-law Marian Hartnett (Frank) of River Winds, NJ and Nancy Morley, of South Philadelphia, and brother-in-law William Morley (Lauretta) of South Philadelphia. She will also be missed by her niece Dawn Hensman of South Philadelphia. She will be sorely missed by The Girls, her close circle of childhood friends from Camden Co., including Betsy Corcory (Ron) Nancy Swank, Nancy Leitch (Peffall), MaryJane Collins, Sharon Grimes (Joe), Anna Adams (Wayne), and Susan DiAntonio, who supported her tremendously during her illness. Prior to her illness, Jane was a graphic artist at the Cape May Co. Herald and will be missed by her co-workers who admired her professionalism and spirit. Jane graduated from Camden Co. Community College in the 1970's. After working at a number of jobs, she decided to embark on a new career, and went to the Philadelphia Printing School for advertising production. She landed a job at the fledgling Philadelphia Business Journal and soon became Director of Production. After 20 years at the Business Journal, Jane and Mike decided to fulfill their lifelong dream and moved from Audubon, NJ to down the shore. Jane began working at the Herald in 2005 and remained there until her illness in 2013. Jane enjoyed reading, listening to music, and traveling. She and Mike traveled all over the US and Europe. They loved to ski and visited numerous ski resorts out West. Jane was a skilled artist, and enjoyed tole painting, mosaics and any number of other crafts. Her mother Jesse,"a" renowned quilter in Camden Co., authored two books on quilting. Jane would like to give special thanks to the nurses and nurse's aides at Cape Reg. Medical Ctr., North Cape Center and the Hospital of the Univ. of Pennsylvania, Holy Redeemer Home Health and Cape VNA Home Health for the wonderful compassionate care and support that they provided during her illness. A Life Celebration Gathering will be held from 11am to 1pm on Saturday, Jan. 18, 2014 at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd., N. Cape May.
