Quigley, John "Mickey" On June 2, 2021 John arrived at his final destination. He was joined together with his loving parents John F. and Elizabeth H. (nee Harder). John was the loving husband of Peggy, his most trusted advocate, soul father of Dana and godfather of Adrian. Former husband of Elizabeth (nee Esbensen) with whom parented seven children – Beth, Diane, Sharon, Michelle, Maureen, John Jr., and Michael "Mickey". John is followed by siblings Patrick, Timmy, Terry, Bryan, Beth, Marie and Denise. Predeceased by brothers Dennis and James. John was a former Philadelphia Police Officer serving at the 26th District and the Philadelphia School District. Upon retirement, he fulfilled his childhood dream of moving to the shore. His love for his family and the Philadelphia Eagles made traveling back and forth from Philly to the shore a worthy cause. His family includes a host of grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Never lost in translation, always a story! A Mass of Christian Burial to celebrate his life will be held at St. John of God, 680 Townbank Rd., N Cape May, on June 9, 2021 at 10am. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery, W. Conshohocken, PA. In lieu of flowers, a donation to Tunnel to Towers would be appreciated via website at www.t2t.org, or mail to Tunnel to Towers Foundation, 2361 Hylan Boulevard, Staten Island, NY 10306.
