A year has come and gone, but it seems like yesterday, that God saw your pain and suffering and decided to carry you the rest of the way! He cured You and lead You to rest! I know and believe this act of mercy took place, when Fr. confirmed it at the pulpit. He stated, You were aware of His presence in the room and after praying over You, You reached out to Him, extended Your arm out to latch onto His, like You were requesting Father to assist with Your final steps, of Crossing Over! Your Life's Mission was accomplished and Your suffering was over! I think about you everyday and I Miss You So Much, that quirky grin of Yours, Your off the wall remarks, Your ability to make good of a bad situation and that irritating whistle of every, last, Andy Griffith Show, while making a mess at the stove! not to say, the shots and beer, didn't lower the temperature any! looking back, I laugh at how upset I would get over a extra few minutes of clean up and now, wishing I had those moments back for a do over! I would give up all my attitudes, just to have You here with me, one more time! since that is wishful thinking, I'll keep You close to Heart and Alive with Memories! Forever......! Your Wife, Peggy!

Dear John,
I never had the chance to say Thank you for allowing me to be a special part of your life for so many years. It was an honor to have known you and to be a part of your life's journey. As we said goodbye today, Father Soprano said something that stuck out to me he said that "you cannot lose a person, only their body, for the rest of them can be found in your heart and mind". Thank you for always taking the time to make me feel like family and I hope you always felt the same from me. I know your faith in the Lord led you home, you are at peace and were welcomed by your loved ones. Keep watching over my Mom and Monti - give her signs that you are safely home.
Rest in Heaven.
Love,
Dana
