Sam and I worked together at Cromby station for PECO. I bought the Hawkeye 1 from Sam in 1988 and used to fish with Sam and Bruno. Bruno could pick up a flounder off the deck of the boat and would often carry them down into the cabin. My family and I visited Sam at the VFW this summer and we are saddened to hear of his passing. We love you Sam!

We are so sorry about Sam's passing. He was a fixture at lunch at the VFW. We shared many laughs and stories with him. He loved his Phillies and vegetable gardening and fishing. He will be missed.

Sam was one of my favorite drinking buddies at the VFW in cape may. We would talk Phillies Baseball, Fishing, or cut up some of our least favorite bartenders or patrons. Sam was alwayes jelous of my terrific Phillies hats, his were ok too. I will miss Sam a great deal. May he rest in peace.

Vivian and girls, extremely sorry to hear the sad news concerning Sam. I had the honor of working with him since 1970. He was a unique individual and a great person to be befriended by. I am a fellow Rigger/Crane Op. and boater/fisherman.
