Obituary of Dorothy M Reeves

OBITUARY Dorothy M Reeves (nee Baron), 87, of Villas passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 15, 2012. Born on October 11, 1924 in Allegheny County, PA; she has been a Cape May area resident since the 1940's. Dorothy worked for City Services of New York City until moving to Cape May. She worked for the former Brown Hardware Store and Winchester Restaurant, then for the Jersey Cape Gulf Oil Company until its closing. Dorothy loved her job with the Cape May Beach Tag Services where she was a dedicated employee for 30 years. She was also a past Worthy Matron of the Cape May Chapter of the Eastern Star where she was a member for over 50 years. Dorothy is survived by her loving daughter Janet (Dave) Perry of Villas, NJ; her grandchildren: David (Betsy) Perry Jr., Michael (Kourtney) Courtland Perry, Christopher Lee Perry, & Alyssa Marie (Sean) Gannon; and great grandson Michael Glenn Perry. She was preceded in death by her husband Courtland V Reeves in 2000 and her son A Courtland Reeves. There will be a funeral service at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, September 19, 2012 at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd, North Cape May, NJ 08204; where friends will be received from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
