I just was given the recent copy of The Herald & saw Mary’s Obituary. I am recovering from foot surgery & have been stuck inside for weeks. So upset that no one from The Cape May Seniors or anyone else told me. I would have gone to her Mass. She was such a sweetheart, big smile & that infectious laugh. I was on the last bus trip with her to Lake Placid. I will truly miss her & her positive demeanor. She was a terrific person

What a great tribute to your Mom. So sorry for your loss and my loss of a wonderful frriend. I was so happy I got to spend time with her when she returned home after her surgery and before we left for Florida. She was one of the happiest, caring, kindest and most generous free spirit I have ever known.
We always looked forward to our casino trips with the Sons Of Italy and cruising with North Cape May Seniors. It gave us a chance to spend more time laughing together and enjoying each others company.
I know she is happy where she is, with Barry, where she always looked forward to being one day. Rest in peace good friend and save room for me.
I am sure she is proud of how the family was able to successfully fulfill her last wishes. So sorry I can not be there Saturday but know that you and Mary will be in my thoughts and prayers then. God bless you all.

Mary was such a sweet, kind, gentle, funny, caring friend and neighbor. Our children adored Mary and Barry. We will miss Mary’s sweet smile and happy waves as we pulled in and out of our drive. Our family feels blessed to have the honor of getting to know the Letizio family over the years. Mary and Barry’s memory will be forever in our hearts. I know she is giving our Bruno lots of doggy treats in heaven as she holds Barry’s hand.
Lots of hugs and smiles,
Chris, Lauren, Eva, Ellie & Rocco Longo

I’m so very sorry for your loss. The Bible offers a comfort for us when faced with losing a loved one in death in 2 Corinthians 1:3,4. There it tells us God will comfort us during this hard time. I will keep your family in my thoughts and prayers.

Barry, Steven, Joan, Ann, Michelle and Tommy, Lisa, Rich, Reen : We are so so sorry for your loss. Your mom, our Aunt Mary, is a very special person whom we all love greatly. Each of us has benefited greatly from her love and attention over the years. Together with your dad , who most called Pop, but I still liked calling Uncle Barry, my Italian "Godfather", they made a difference in so many lives. Aunt Mary and Uncle Barry made a difference in my life and that of my wife Mary and my brothers, Mike and Lee and Leigh Ann and Liz. I am also not forgetting the difference Aunt Mary and Uncle Barry made in my father and mother's lives either. We were all made to feel like part of the Letizio family . When I think back on my childhood, I can't remember any family event, party, holiday, or vacation that did not involve all of us celebrating together. As we grew older, Aunt Mary and Uncle Barry adopted us when our mother was taken from us. As we grew older, our brother Mike and I spent the holidays and birthdays with our married families, but Lee stayed a part of the Letizio primary family . Thank you all, and especially Aunt Mary , for keeping Lee part of the immediate Letizio family. You are all so kind and generous.
When Mary and I read the lovely obituary, we were moved by the mention of my mother and father. I expect Lee and Michael feel the same way. That was so kind and thoughtful of you . We know that words cannot immediately heal your hurt and pain from Aunt Mary's passing on to eternity. We hope that you find some comfort in knowing and reliving the great joy and happiness your mom brought not only to you and your families, but to the Weinstein families as well.
I will end with a paraphrased quote from Barry's comments at your fathers funeral: when Aunt Mary was greeted by St Peter at heaven's gate, like Uncle Barry, she was also told "Job well done" . Love you all we are and sorry that Mary and I cannot be at the funeral service. We will be there in spirit. Mary and Kevin

I’ve said this many times over the years - Aunt Mary was so much more than an aunt to me. She was one of my best friends! I loved her (and pop) so very much and while it pains us to see them both gone, I do rejoice in the fact the they are together again and with all of their loved ones who have passed before them. Mary is with her creator and she is at peace. My heart goes out to al of you: Barry & Lisa, Tom & Reen, Joan & Rich, Anne, Michele and Steven. She was a strong woman and she loved you and the kids with all her soul. She was an angel on earth and I’m so very sorry for you loss! Leigh Ann

We are sure going to miss this great lady and are so sorry you couldn't have had at least a few more years with her. We feel so lucky to have known her . Our favorite memories are her laughter and how she made enough food for easter dinner at Reen and Tom's house to feed the entire town of Ambler! Our love, thoughts and prayers are with you all

Dear Letizio Family,
Tom and I loved your mom and dad so much. When we moved to Chicago, we always tried our best to visit Aunt Mary and Uncle Barry in Cape May during our summer visits. Always a wonderful time. And I remember Christmas night in Warminister. So fun
You were so blessed to have had these wonderful parents. I’m sure my Tom is happy that Aunt Mary is with him now in heaven. Thinking of all of you this weekend. Love to all the wonderful Prodoehl families.
XO Joanne

To the Letizio family
We were friends with your Mom from church and the North Cape May seniors and during the time we knew your Mom she touched our hearts with her smile and concern for others always. She always had such a positive attitude and just made your day when you spoke with her.
We’ll never forget the kind and loving person she was.
Your family was blessed to have had such an awesome Mom.
God bless you all and may you Rest In Peace Mary. ❤️

Mom with Grandmom Letizio. Nothing better than being at the beach with family--she loved both with a passion.

Aunt Mary and Uncle Barry are finally reunited and now both get to spend eternity with Jesus. Surely there is no greater reward for a life lived correctly and to the fullest. My limited vocabulary is unable to express how deeply my cousins and so many others feel this loss, but our fond memories are many and will give us sustenance for the rest of our days. Thank you both for being role models and mentors, never once forgetting my birthday , and for making sure I was always part of a loving family. We are all blessed to have had Aunt Mary in our lives. Life will never be the same, but I will forever treasure the time we enjoyed during her time on earth. To her children, (my cousins), I love you all as brothers and sisters. With much sorrow and lots of love, Lee

Dear Cousins, I am very sad that your loving and fierce mother has passed. She was a force of nature. She had a smile so big and always a kind word. I have so many memories of family parties mostly at the Fort Washington house, then the Warminster home. It was always a raucus and fun time at these family gatherings. For a time everyone went to the Letizio's Warminster home on Christmas night. The house would overflow with aunts, Uncles, cousins and their significant other/spouses and soon the babies came along. So many happy memories. Now she is with God , her husband and many family members. Hugs and prayers that God put His loving arms around all of you at this very sad time. Love Terry Lee
