Joseph C. McTamany passed away on Saturday, August 25, 2018. Joe graduated from Cardinal Dougherty High School. After Sergeant McTamany retired from the Philadelphia Police Force, he became a snowbird spending winters in Florida. The Phillies and Eagles remained his favorite teams.
Joe enjoyed singing with the Heedless Hoarsemen in their many concerts. Whenever you hear a Bob Dylan tune, remember Joe singing along. Everyone enjoyed Joe's starring roles in local theatre.
Joe is survived by the love of his life, Melody Eagan, and brothers, Charles and Patrick (Win). He was predeceased by brother, Thomas and sister, Kathleen.
Memorial donations may be made in Joe's memory to the ALS Association.
