Obituary of George S Lapsley

OBITUARY George S Lapsley, III, 84, of North Cape May passed away peacefully on Monday, September 10, 2012 at his home. Born in Glassport, PA and formerly of Philadelphia; he has been a Cape May area resident for 14 years. George was a meter tester for the Philadelphia Electric Company; was a member of the Villas VFW; the Sea Scouts of Philadelphia; and enjoyed bowling & woodworking. He is survived by his wife Bess (nee Peitzman) Lapsley of North Cape May; his son George (Margaret) D Lapsley; his son Glen (Denise) S Lapsley; and his son Steven C Lapsley (companion James F Sinclair). Also surviving are 8 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. There will be a funeral service at 11:00 AM on Saturday, September 15, 2012 at Cold Spring Presbyterian Church, 780 Seashore Rd, Cold Spring, NJ; where friends will be received from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Cold Spring Cemetery.
