Many fond memories of playing as a child over at the Geiger's with Rae and Laurie on visits to my grandmother, who lived just across the street. I had the utmost respect for both, Mr. and Mrs. Geiger. Mrs. Geiger would sometimes let me sit and listen as Rae practiced piano, which I thoroughly enjoyed, but I knew I had to be good and not interrupt!
Later, my husband and I moved into my grandmother's home and we became full time neighbors to Mr. and Mrs. Geiger, as we still always referred to them. Mrs. Geiger would often be outside tending to her flowers during the warmer months and on an occasion or two, my husband was called upon to remove a unwelcome snake so she could continue about her business. She didn't want it hurt.....just moved!
Our sympathy to Rae, Laurie and their families on this loss.
