My heartfelt sorrow for your loss. Darlene was such a sweet and gentle soul. We were friends for over fifty years, and I loved her kindness always shown to me. I will miss her beautiful smile, but may the love she shared shine on through her two sons and darling granddaughter she dearly loved. Rest In Peace, my beautiful life long friend. Love always, ~Dottie

My heart is with you all. Darlene was such a loving, caring person. The last time I saw her we both were visiting Doug and Gerre Schwert in Chattanooga. (They put me up for my month of radiation shortly after Darlene had stayed with them.) Darlene was so happy, looking forward to her new job. Sister Elizabeth has contacted the Schwerts, as I have. Doug had a good conversation with Darlene about six days before she passed on and would like to hear from Chris. Feel free to contact me. I’ve also asked April M to send Gerre S your info.
With love,
Kathy Hamman
