Andrew Devlin, age 91, of Villas passed away peacefully Saturday, September 10, 2016 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born July 5, 1925 in Philadelphia, PA; formerly lived in that city; and has been a Cape May area resident for 25 years. Andrew served his country in the US Navy during World War II. He was employed by the Schmidt's Brewing Company of Philadelphia, PA as a Truck Driver until retirement. Andrew later worked for the Philadelphia Housing Authority and for the Cape May County Department of Weights & Measures. He was a member of the Teamsters Union Local # 830 of Philadelphia, the Villas VFW (where he was Commander for 8 years), and the Villas Fishing Club. Andrew is survived by his loving wife of 35 years: Elizabeth (nee Pickup) Devlin; two sons: Mark Devlin & Brian Rhuberg; three daughters: Deborah Jackson, Sandra Rhuberg, & Karen Rhuberg; and his daughter-in-law: Stacy Tomes. Also surviving are: his niece Barbara and numerous grandchildren & great grandchildren. There will be a graveside service at 1:30 PM Saturday, September 17, 2016 at Cape May County Veteran's Cemetery, 127 Crest Haven Rd, CMCH, NJ 08210.
