Having known Fred W. Neal made my life richer. Growing up on Larkspur Lane, across the street from the Neal family, I had the good fortune of knowing him and benefiting from his generosity and kindness. He helped us kids grow up in a safe and secure neighborhood. He was a soft spoken man who had the patience to put up with us while taking the time to teach us and give us all a chance to try.
