Minka McFate, age 91, of Villas passed away peacefully Friday, January 29, 2016 at her home. Minka was born September 29, 1924 in Drachten, Holland; formerly lived in Collingdale, PA; and has been a Cape May area resident since 1952. She is the daughter of the late Klaas and the late Jean (Van Breeden) DeVries. Minka was predeceased by her husband, Herbert McFate on 10/24/2005. She is survived by her brother-in-law, Robert (Louise) McFate of West Chester, PA; her sister-in-law, Oxana Stukas of Swedesboro, NJ; and her niece, Cecelia (Joe) Getter of West Chester, PA. There will be a graveside service at 2:00 PM, Saturday, February 6, 2016 at Cape May County Veteran's Cemetery, 127 Crest Haven Rd, Cape May Court House, NJ 08210.
