May you rest in Peace Minka. Little did I know after a few days after talking to you that you would be gone. She always said I was her best friend and she will be greatly missed. I can remember her stopping by to visit me with the paper and to sit down and chat when we were neighbors in the Villas. Glad you are in Heaven with Herbie and Cheyenne. She always made sure too call and ask how I and my family were doing and to tell them all hi. My Deepest Sympathy that I did not make it to your services,I became aware of it 2 hours too late.. May God Keep You In his arms and I will miss you. Love Bea

RIP My dear friend Minka, We were neighbors and friends when Lou and I were stationed in New Jersey, You and Herbie watched over me while he was underway, We had some great times I will miss you dearly my friend. My most sincere condolences to Minka's family. I know how much she missed her Herbie and her dog Cheyenne. When herbie passed away I did everything I could for her so she could be financially taken care of and would not have any worries. Now, Minka is with herbie and Cheyenne and is at peace. Minka was a wonderful friend & neighbor. She was always asking about my family & grandchildren. She & Herbie took a special liking to my grandson Anthony. He loved to go over to the house & look at all Herbies animals & talk about hunting. Minka loved to talk on the phone. If she called you, it was a 45 minuet conversation, with Minka doing most of the talking. It made me realize how lonely she was & brought back memories of my mom..When you have lived most of your life with one person, the loneliness is almost unbearable. She missed her Herbie but she is now with him. You brought a lot of joy to your neighbors on W. Pacific Ave. We will always remember & miss you.
