I am so sorry for your loss, and please accept my sincere condolences. A death in the family is a painful thing, especially when a son loses a father. It brings hope to know that we have a God that hates death as well and would like to bring it to an end, and considers it "an enemy." (1 Corinthians 15:26) He would like to bring all suffering to an end. (Psalm 37:9-11) I hope these words give you strength in your time of weakness.
