In Memoriam
With you a part of me hath passed away;
For in the peopled forest of my mind
A tree made leafless by this wintry wind
Shall never don again its green array.
Chapel and fireside, country road and bay,
Have something of their friendliness resigned;
Another, if I would, I could not find,
And I am grown much older in a day.
But yet I treasure in my memory
Your gift of charity, and young hearts ease,
And the dear honour of your amity;
For these once mine, my life is rich with these.
And I scarce know which part may greater be,--
What I keep of you, or you rob from me.

We pray that peace and comfort embrace you as you meet your Maker. I am sure that Doreen, Mom and Dad will be there waiting for you at the door. Tell Doreen not to worry all is well.. All thoses illness that you endured will no longer fill you and we pray that you will finally be free of all the pain and anxiety that you felt. Memories, of my God so many over the years and just not enough room here for all of them.
We will always remember the happier times, the cruise, the camping trips, Hersey Park, and of course that cab ride in the Bahamas. And that camping trip up to Cooperstown. What a blast we all had. Even Dad was a trooper with the camping. But how could we expect less, he was a WW 11 veteran and could have taught us all a thing or two about camping! How ironic, Dad, Doreen and you on that trip and your all gone. I miss you all. How can we forget your visits to the house and how good you were to the kids, you were a good Uncle and always much to generous to them. Those "stories" will always be embedded in our minds along with the laughter that we had. And how we laughed that day with Mom when the thunder and lightening started. Going past the Tuckerton Inn will always remind us of the luches we had there and how you always came out for us. You truly always looked so happy to see us. We enjoyed your company as you did us.
An then there was Hurricane Irene in August of 2011 that chased you from your home and into ours for safety. We ate, as we waited anxiously, we talked, we ate again, we talked somemore as we all anxiously awaited the storm. But luck was with us and we were all safe and we did what we did best, ATE, TALKED AND repeated that scenerio over and over again, lol You had a great sense of humor and a kind heart and that is what I will always remember. Yes, many memories and not enough time or room...Remember this...You may be gone but you will never be forgotten.
Love you,
Pat and Fran
