Rev. Carmen Nellie Billingham, 79, of Erma passed away on Sunday, November 27, 2011 at her home. Nellie was a graduate of the Mexico School of Medicine and became a Physician's Assistant for Dr Leeds of Irvington, NJ. She was also a "Doctor of Divinity" and was a counselor of inmates for St Lawrence County. Nellie was a wonderful loving person who wanted everyone to get God's Blessing. She is survived by her husband of 22 years Earl D Billingham of Erma; her son Luis Gil of PA; and her daughter Aileen Felix of NJ. Also surviving are 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Nellie was preceded in death by her daughter Yvonne Rivera and her son Richard Gil. A memorial service will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, December 3, 2011 at the Maranatha New Covenant Church, Breakwater & Seashore Roads, Erma, NJ 08204; where the family will receive friends from 12:30 to 4:00 PM.
