Dear Family and Beth,
I have known Ms. Leaming since I was 11 years old when my mother began working in the Wildwood School District as the secretary to Ms. Naomi Bright. Ms. Leaming used to permit me to help her with her fifth - grade class. I learned a love of teaching and nature from her. So much so, that I became a teacher. For 31 years, I have utilized her methods and remember her infectious enthusiasm about satisfying the curiousity of a child. I shall never forget her. She was a lifelong friend of my mother, brother, and me. I consider her one of the many lights which gave the world its glow. She lit many young minds, including mine.
I considered it a privilege to know her.
