Jeffrey J Gay, age 54, of Villas passed away on Tuesday, July 13, 2010. Born in Philadelphia and formerly of Langhorne, PA, he summered here most of his life and has been a Cape May area resident since 1992. Jeffrey was a graduate of Neshaminy High School; was a member of Cape Bible Church in Villas; and was a Chaplin for the Atlantic City Rescue Mission for the past 8 years. He enjoyed music, traveling, and sports (especially playing golf). Jeffrey is survived by his wife Kim Gay of Villas; sons: Charles Gay of Jacksonville Beach, FL & Timothy (Betsy) Gay of Cape May; daughter Jenna (Ben) Laski of Marina Del Ray, CA; and granddaughter Jadyn. Also surviving are: his brother Michael (Sharon) Gay of E Greenville, PA; sisters: Loraine (Robert) Whittaker of Langhorne, PA and Mary Jane Smith of Charleston, SC. Funeral services will be private. The family suggests donations in Jeffrey's memory to the Atlantic City Rescue Mission, 2009 Bacharach Blvd, Atlantic City, NJ 08404.
