It is almost 10 years since Jeff's passing. I was thinking of him today and forndly remembering my time with Jeff at the Rescue Mission. I was fortunate to work with Jeff on the evening shift as a volunteer assistant for a couple of years when I was on furlough from the mission field in Russia. Jeff 'showed me the ropes' and trusted me with a lot of responsibilty. Jeff truely modeled what a Chaplain should be. Every evening I went in for work I looked forward to meeting with him and when he was off any particular night it just wasn't the same. Jeff had his struggles, as we all do, but he was truly a child of God, a brother in Christ. I miss him.

To everyone in Champlain Gay's family,
Jeff will be deeply missed by myself and the rest of the Atlantic City Rescue Mission Family. It was wonderful working with him over the last two years. One of my great memories is that he is the one that introduced me to a wonderful devotion called, "My Utmost For His Highest" now whenever I read this I will remember him.
God Bless you all

Jeff, because of you I got saved by Jesus Christ. You were my mentor someone who I looked up to, not only spirtualy but as a Man. If it wasn't for you I would not be the person who I am today. Thank you for caring about me, my son, my family, and my relationship. You were always there for me when I needed you without hesitation. I love you and will miss you more than you will ever know. I take comfort knowing I will see you again.... "Tee it high, and hit it hard"
