Edward Miller Godman Obituary

Edward M. Godman, age 75 of North Cape May went home to rest on Saturday, February 6, 2010 after a long battle with cancer.





Ed was born in Philadelphia, but lived most of his life in North Cape May. He served in the United States Navy, owned a garage for a time, and then worked for many years as an accountant and in retail. He was a Pilgrim in the Moose Lodge #585 of Wildwood. Ed will forever be remembered by family and friends as an honest hard working man with a great sense of humor.





Ed is survived by his sister Diane Minchin of Turnersville; his brother Robert Godman of Wildwood and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Edward and Dorothy, his sisters Lue and Dot and brothers Bill and Gene.





A funeral service will be held Saturday, February 13, 2010, 3:00 pm at Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Road, N. Cape May. Visitation Saturday from 1:30- 3 pm. Private burial will be held at a later date in the veterans section of Cold Spring Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Love of Linda Fund, PO Box 1053, Wildwood, NJ 08260.
