Uncle Eddie was a hard working, kindhearted man, who would do anything he could for his family. We have so many wonderful memories of special times we spent with him...he taught us how to feed the seagulls on the ferry, how to save the horseshoe crabs by tossing them back into the water, and we used to have so much fun going to the beach, having BBQ's in the backyard, and of course the New Year's Eve parties. they were a high light! He would be the bartender for everyone, we would dance and play games and spend the nights laughing, just enjoying being together. He fought a long battle with cancer, and through it all he never lost his sense of humor. I hope that he is now at rest, free from pain, and enjoying his eternal life with all of those who have gone on before him. I know Uncle Gene will be happy to see him once again. Now they will never be apart. We will miss you so much, and I hope you knew how much we all loved you.
love, Barbie

I will forever remember uncle Eddie as a hard working yet fun loving man, who loved the summer sun and rides of the Cape May Lewis Ferry with us. I always looked forward to those rides in August. As a young adult I had the chance to spend time with him when I would vacation in the summer and we always had a great time. New Year's Eve was always a celebration and no one will ever be able to make a burger quite like him. He was the one man every one could depend on and i never knew him to deny anyone in need. He fought a long battle with an ugly disease and fought it with the dignity and grace he lived his life with. I pray that he is finally at rest and united with those who have gone before him,I will miss him but am truly blessed to have loved him! Sleep well and kiss Grandpop for me.
