Alice Cassar, age 78, of North Cape May passed away peacefully on December 2, 2009 at the Thomas Jefferson Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. Born in the Kensington Section of Philadelphia, she has been an area resident for 26 years. She was a homemaker and an avid Bingo player. Alice was the beloved wife of the late Edward Cassar. She is survived by: her daughter Carol (Tom) Fols; her son Edward (Denise) Cassar Jr; her son James (Patricia) Cassar; and her daughter Jane (Ronald) Menear. Alice was also the grandmother of: Michele (Daniel); Jessica; Edward III (Kristina); Michael; Christopher; Ryan: and Courtney. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM on Monday, December 7, 2009 at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd, North Cape May, NJ. Friends will be received from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Interment will follow the service at the Cape May County Veterans Cemetery, Cape May Court House.
