Obituary of Mary Ellen Crowley

Mary Ellen Crowley, age 75, of Villas passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on Monday, November 16, 2009. Born in Philadelphia, and formerly of Lisbon Falls, ME; she has been a Cape May area resident since 2002. Mary Ellen was loved by so many people - as a friend, a listener, an advisor, and above all as a mother and homemaker. Her love for the US Navy was as full as her husband's, where 35 years of their 55 year marriage were shared. She was a member of the Beta Sigma Phi sorority, Good Samaritans of St Raymond's, and was active in Girl Scouts of America. Mary Ellen is survived by: her husband Stanley of Villas; her seven children: Colleen Patricia Crowley of Vienna, ME; Kathleen Anne Kelley of Vienna, ME; Brian Michael Crowley of Lisbon Falls, ME; Kevin Shawn Crowley of Lisbon Falls, ME; Eileen Sharon Crossman of Wales, ME; Maureen Heather Lines of Jacksonville, FL; and Joyce Lorraine Mayer of Woolwich, ME. She is also survived by her sister Jodi Price of Gulfport, MS; her niece Sunshine Tatum; seven grandchildren; and two great grandchildren. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at 11:00 AM on Friday, November 20, 2009 at St Raymond's RC Church, Bayshore & Ocean Ave, Villas, NJ. Friends will be received from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the church. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
