Tammy J Battaglia, age 45, of Cape May Court House passed away very peacefully on Wednesday, November 11, 2009. Born in Middletown Township, PA; she has been a Cape May County resident for the past 29 years, and was a 1982 graduate of Lower Cape Regional High School. Tammy was employed by Cape May County MUA for the past 25 years. She was very actively involved with the Delaware Valley Doberman Rescue Association.
Tammy was preceded in death by her grandparents Robert & Elizabeth Jane Hartley. She was a very loving and caring mother of two children: Amber Lynn Waddington and Joseph Alexander Battaglia III who survive. She is also survived by: her sister Christine (Thomas) Dermott & their son Clayton; and her brother Robert (Roseann) Hopkins & their children Shannon, Hailey, Robert Jr, and Gabrielle; her father Arlie Hopkins, her mother Shirley Lewis.
There will be a memorial service held on Thursday, November 19, 2009 at 2:00 PM at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd, North Cape May, NJ; where friends may call after 1:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Tammy's memory to the Love of Linda Cancer Fund, PO Box 1053, Wildwood, NJ 08260.
