Mary Kollar, age 78, of Rio Grande passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, November 4, 2009. Born in Atlantic City, she lived in Pleasantville, South Dennis, and Wildwood; before settling in Rio Grande.

For over 40 years, Mary and her late husband Harry were Mr & Mrs Santa Clause for numerous organizations, friends, and family members. She was involved in the Bell Telephone Pioneers, and baked many cakes supporting the Deborah Hospital Charities.

Mary is survived by: her daughter Diane (Charles) Breakell; her daughter Denise (Dave) Wood; her daughter Dena Maree; her sister Pearl Tassoni; and her brother Tony Pitale. She is also survived by; 4 grandchildren: Frank, Jason, Ashley, and Lauren; 3 great grandchildren: Brynn, Chloe, and Jay Jr; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Harry Kollar in 2006; her sisters Rose Pitale & Emily Roy; and her brother David Pitale.

There will be a private graveside service at the Cape May County Veteran's Cemetery on Sunday, November 8, 2009 in Cape May Court House. The family requests that donations be made in Mary's name to the Holy Reedemer Hospice, 1801 Route 9, Swainton, NJ.
