Richard L Evoy, age 73, of Estell Manor passed away on Friday, October 30, 2009 at the Atlanticare Regional Medical Center in Atlantic City. Born in Camden and formerly of Moorestown, he has lived in Estell Manor for the past 31 years. Richard was a graduate of the Admiral Farragut Naval Academy of Toms River, NJ and of Bucknell University. He served his country as a First Lieutenant in the US Army. He was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity. Surviving are his wife of 31 years, Laura (nee) Granese; his son Richard (Maryann) Evoy of Medford, NJ; and two daughters: Karen (Eric) Johnson; and Suzanne (Steven) Minshall both of Medford, NJ. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren; his brother William (Barbara) Evoy of Medford, NJ; a his sister Andrea (Robert) Null of The Villages, FL; his mother-in-law Mildred Granese; and a sisiter-in-law Lorraine Granese both of Mays Landing, NJ. Funeral services will be at 1:00 PM Thursday, November 5, 2009 at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd, North Cape May, NJ. Friends may call from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at the Atlantic County Veteran's Cemetery on Route 50, Estell Manor.
