Obituary of Donald O Twist

Donald Twist, age 76, of Wildwood Crest passed away peacefully with his family by his side, on October 28, 2009 at the Cape Regional Medical Center. Born in Folcroft, PA; Don lived most of his life in Wildwood Crest with his beloved wife Maryann. Don was the Superintendant of Public Works for the borough of Wildwood Crest. Prior to that, he worked for many years in construction as a general contractor. He was past president of the Wildwood Lions Club and belonged to the Son's of Italy. Don enjoyed cooking for his family and friends; living near the beach; and introducing the new children of the family to the joys of the ocean. He is survived by his wife Maryann; daughter Donna (Daniel) Twist Rudolph; daughter Kimberly Twist; and 3 grandsons: Andrew, Adam, & Matthew. He also leaves numerous nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM Monday, November 2, 2009 at the Church of Assumption in Wildwood Crest. Friends may call at the church from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM Monday.
