Joan Kazmierczak, age 74, of Wildwood Crest passed away Tuesday, October 6, 2009 at the Cape Regional Medical Center. Born in Philadelphia, she became an area resident in 1976. Joan worked as a clerk for the TKR Cable Co in Wildwood and was an active volunteer for the CARA Organization since 1990.
Joan is survived by: her daughter Carol Leszczynski of Cape May, NJ; her daughter Annette (John) Weigele of Myrtle Beach, SC; her son Daniel McDonald of Wildwood Crest, NJ; and her sister Doris Moffet of Willingboro, NJ. She is also survived by four grandchildren: Travis Leszczynski, Tyler Leszczynski, Noah Leszczynski, and Alexandra Jackson.
Her memorial service will be at the Evoy Funeral Home, North Cape May, on Saturday, October 10, 2009 at 11:00 AM. Friends may call on Saturday morning from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment will be private. The family requests that donations be made in Joan's memory to the CARA Organization, PO Box 774, Cape May Court House, NJ 08210, 609-522-6489.
