Helen M (Dever) Copson, age 69, of Rio Grande Passed away on Monday, October 5, 2009. Born in Philadelphia, she has been a long time resident of Cape May County.
Helen was preceded in death by her husband Elvin Copson and her stepson Michael Copson. She is survived by two sons: Daniel P Dever and John E Dever; and a daughter Maryellen Dever Hanstein. Helen is also survived by three stepchildren: Elvin Copson Jr, Robert Copson, and Cindy Copson. Also surviving are several grandchildren: Colleen Dever, Michael Copson, John "Jay" Hanstein, Danielle Dever, Zachary Dever, Daniel Dever Jr, Caitlin Dever, and one great granddaughter Julie Copson.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 9, 2009 at 2:00 PM at the Cape May County Veterans Cemetery. Donations in her memory may be made to the Holy Redeemer Hospice, 1801 Route 9, Swainton, NJ 08210. To share condolences, please visit www.evoyfuneralhome.com.
