Ray died peacefully in his home with his family. He was raised in Wildwood and was a lifeguard in the Wildwood Beach Patrol for 17 years under Frank "Dutch" Hoffman. He served his country during World War IT in the U.S. Navy during the South Pacific campaign. He lived in Newark, DE for 25years with his family. He returned to the Cape May area where he spent the last 40 years. He was a business man most of his life. He was a devoted family man and loved his wife, children and grand children very much.
He was pre-deceased by his loving mother Edith; his sister Edith; his fun-loving uncle Henry Pancygrau; his childhood friend and cousin Carl Newman; his wife Agnes "the only girl for me"; and his daughter Joyce "daddy's little girl". He is survived by his son Stephen (Sharon); grandchildren: Eric Komar, Brian Komar, Kyle Komar, Kelli Walker (Howard), and Todd Rahn (Tera). Services will be private.
