OBITUARY
Marvin G Austin, 83, of North Cape May passed away on Thursday, December 20, 2012 at AtlantiCare Hospital in Atlantic City, NJ. Born in Burlington, WI; he has been a long time Cape May area resident. Marvin served his country in the US Army during the Korean War. He was the owner of Marv Austin Contracting of Lower Township for over 26 years. He was a member of the Cape Island Lodge #30 of Cape May, the Excelsior Consistury, and the Crescent Temple Shrine of Trenton. He was preceded in death by his wife of 39 years Eleanor (nee Rinkerman) in 2003. Marvin is survived by his: sister Mildred Mathis of MS; daughter Jane (Ed) Fowler of Florida; granddaughter Tammy (Russ) Rutherford of CMCH, NJ; granddaughter Donna (Jeffrey) Tomlin of CMCH, NJ; and his great granddaughter Tori Tomlin. There will be a funeral service at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 29, 2012 at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd, North Cape May, NJ 08204; where friends will be received from 10:00 to 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Cold Spring Cemetery, 1056 Seashore Rd, Cold Spring, NJ 08204.
