OBITUARY Robert Warren Spratt of North Cape May died peacefully on December 19, 2012. Robert was a devoted and loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was born July 31, 1921 in Brooklyn, NY, the fourth son of William and Emily Spratt. The family moved to Neshanic, NJ where he graduated from Somerville High School and attended Embry Riddle and Rutgers University. He proudly served in the US Army Air Corps/ US Air Force during World War II and the Korean War. He worked at Research Cottrell located in Finderne, NJ for over 32 years. Robert was a master of all crafts; building homes, barns, furniture, repairing cars, wood crafts, plumbing, electrical, and various home repairs. He married Frances Jaas on May 5, 1950 in St Louis, MO. They moved to Neshanic, NJ and together they had five children: Jarilyn Fierst (Ed), Cheryl, Randolph (Kim), Robin (Hank), and Richard. Robert and Frances retired to Cape May, NJ and enjoyed a long retirement. He is survived by his wife and five children, along with five grandchildren: Jennifer, Jessica, and Jacqueline Fierst, and Daniel and Caitlin Spratt. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren. A memorial service will take place Wednesday, December 26, from 2 to 3 at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd, North Cape May, NJ 08204.
