Frank A. Valenzano, age 76, of Cape May, NJ passed away in his home on August 24, 2009. A selfless man, Frank devoted much of his time to making people laugh and helping others. His zest for life was undeniable. Frank volunteered weekly at St. Raymond's Church, where, as a parishoner, he called Bingo for years. He also recently began volunteering as a clown to help lift patient's spirits in local hospitals. Frank was an active member of the local Catholic Singles, the Cape May Harmonairs, Sons of Italy and Knights of Columbus. He is preceded in death by parents, Lawrence and Rose Valenzano; brothers Angelo, Dominic, Joseph and Lawrence Valenzano; sister, Theresa Smythe; nephew, Joey Valenzano and niece Roseanne Olivierio. Frank is survived by his beloved daughter, Mary Frances Valenzano; companion, Mickey Barone; and many nieces and nephews. A mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Saturday, Aug. 29, 2009 in St. Raymond's Catholic Parish, Villas, NJ. Viewing will be from 10 - 11 AM. Relatives and friends are invited to Mickey Barone's residence following mass until 4:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in his memory to the American Cancer Society for Mantle Cell Lymphoma research. Evoy Funeral Home Please fax charges to 609-886-8364
