Obituary of Edward E. Jefferis

Edward E. "Jeff" Jefferis, age 65, of Erma was called home on Tuesday. Born in Upper Darby, PA, he was a resident here since 1972. He was a retired Police Sergeant for Lower Township. Mr. Jefferis served as a helicopter crew chief in the U. S. Army in Vietnam. He was a life member of P.B.A. #59. Surviving are his wife Lynn; five children, Erin, Christina (Chris) Dermott, Edward 3rd (Breanne), Timothy and Sarah and three grandchildren, Matthew, Edward IV and Emily. Funeral services will be held on Friday, 11:00 AM at Tabernacle U. M. Church, 702 Seashore Rd., Erma. There will be a viewing on Thursday from 6 - 8 PM and on Friday from 10 - 11 AM at the church. Burial will be in Cape May County Veterans Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be sent to Tabernacle Church. Evoy Funeral Home
