Obituary of Marie E Cook

OBITUARY Marie E Cook, 85, of Villas passed away on Sunday, December16, 2012 at Cape Regional Medical Center. Born in Shenadoah, PA., and formerly of Philadelphia; she has been a Cape May area resident since 1974. She was a member of the environmental services staff at Burdette Tomlin Hospital, retiring after many years of employment. Marie was a Catholic by faith and her greatest joy in life was her family. She was preceded in death by her husband William L Cook in 1967. She is survived by her children: Patricia (Wesley) Johnston of Emmaus, PA; Joanne (Richard) Affatato of Philadelphia, PA; Diane (Patrick) Clancy of Elizabethtown, PA; Jacqueline (Thomas) Doherty of Villas, NJ; and William L Cook of Erma, NJ. Also surviving are sisters: Helen Arukowicz of Shenandoah, PA; Alice Wolfe of Somerville, NJ; Dorothy Prymak of Manville, NJ; and Theresa Shone of Shenadoah, PA; along with 11 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren. There will be a funeral service at 11:00 AM on Friday, December 21, 2012 at the Evoy Funeral Home, 3218 Bayshore Rd, North Cape May, NJ; where friends will be received from 10:00 to 11:00 AM.
